Robin Skogman, MA, OTR/L, OT Supervisor
Robin is a 2000 graduate of The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, where she earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She began her OT career at Grand Itasca Clinic & Hospital in Grand Rapids, MN, for 2 years prior to coming to the Cook Hospital in 2003. Robin is a native of Tower, MN, and jumped at the opportunity to be closer to home on the Iron Range. Special areas of interest include being a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and working with children. When not working, Robin spends time traveling and enjoying the outdoors. She enjoys cruising out on Lake Vermilion in the pontoon, fishing, and snowmobiling. She is an active member of the Vermilion Penguin Snowmobile Club.

Melissa Westman, COTA/L
Missy has worked at the Cook Hospital for over 10 years. She completed her schooling at Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN. She loves the wide variety of patients seen in this rural area. Missy has acquired extended knowledge in many areas of OT practice from her experiences and continuing education. Missy takes a special interest in exercise and fitness at the hospital and has held classes for the community and employees to improve fitness levels. When not working, Missy enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. |
