Care Center

  • Certified Nursing Assistant: 5 Part Time

    The Nursing Assistant is a caregiver who assists professional nursing personnel in providing resident care and maintaining efficient function for a designated time frame.

Hospital & ER

  • Unit Clerk/Nursing Assistant (HUC): 1 Temp FT & 2 Part Time

    The Cook Hospital is currently seeking a candidate to work in our Hospital as a Casual Unit Clerk/Certified Nursing Assistant. Responsible for coordinating efficient unit function, reception, secretarial and patient care.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration: Active and in good standing with the MN
    Nursing Assistant Registry. Current BLS Certification.
    Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Ward Secretary, Unit Assistant or Medical Records
    training required.
    Experience: Prior Hospital experience preferred. Prior secretary experience in a health care setting.

  • Cardiac Rehab Coordinator: 1 Casual

    Demonstrate an overall understanding and commitment to the facility’s mission and philosophy. The Cardiac Rehab Coordinator will provide patient services in the area of cardiac rehab and assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients 13 years and older who are referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Program Phase II at the Cook Hospital.  Will assist with the planning, implementation, evaluation, management, budgeting, and marketing of clinical operations of Cardiac Rehab.  Serves as a liaison for patients with physicians and referral sources.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration:  Basic Life Support & Advanced Cardiac Life Support

    Education: Bachelor’s Degree in exercise physiology or Registered Nursing license in the State of MN (Bachelor’s preferred)                Experience: Exercise program planning.

    Supervision and counseling with cardiac rehab patients.

    Knowledge and experience in EKG interpretation.

    Competent in adult education principles.

  • Registered Nurse: 1 Casual

    The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients for a designated time-frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members.


  • Dietary Aide: 2 Casual

    The Dietary Aide is responsible for washing dishes, general cleaning, tray line positions and meal distribution.

  • Culinary Chef: 1 Full Time

    Prepares, directs and is responsible for meal service and special functions/holidays. Keeps kitchen, storage, and dining room clean. Keeps records as directed.


    • Graduate 2-4 year culinary program.
    • ServSafe certification
    • Good written and verbal communication.
    • Demonstrates effective communication skills with patients, families, visitors, peers, supervisors, and all other persons associated with Cook Hospital & Care Center.
    • At least one year experience in quantity cooking preferably in a similar setting.
  • Dietary Aide/Cook: 1 Part Time

    The Dietary Aide is responsible for washing dishes, general cleaning, tray line positions and meal distribution.

    The Cook is under limited supervision, assumes responsibility for preparing high-quality foods according to standardized recipes. Complies with all State and Federal guidelines.

Environmental Services

  • Housekeeping & Laundry: 2 casual

    The environmental Tech I is responsible for housekeeping and laundry duties within the facility.

  • Maintenance/Plant Operations: 1 Part Time

    Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment throughout the facility. Also, maintaining the equipment, tools, furniture, etc. of the facility. Follow all tasks as set forth by the Plant Manager.


  • Physical Therapist: 1 Full Time

    We have a full time opportunity as a Staff Physical Therapist – graduate from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association, licensed or eligible for license to practice Physical Therapy in Minnesota. Provides the assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication and leadership to meet the physical therapy needs of patients. Fosters working relationships among professionals and ancillary staff. The physical therapist may serve clients of all ages. Skills in Orthopedics, Neurological and Pediatrics treatment preferred.


  • Radiologic Technician/Assistant Manager: 1 Full Time

    Demonstrate an overall understanding and commitment to the facility’s mission and philosophy. Responsible for assisting with the Direct supervision of the hospital Imaging/EKG Department. Must have the ability to work both cooperatively and independently under stress and to establish priorities. Must have the ability to promote a positive public image by communicating in a polite, tactful and professional manner with patients.  Employees possessing the necessary qualifications will be expected to exhibit reasonable proficiency within three (3) months of employment.


  • Medical Lab Tech: 1 Full Time

    Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Medical Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing testing in all areas of the laboratory and maintenance of all equipment following CLIA regulations. The MLT must be able to work independently due to the amount of hours on call.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified by ASCP or NCA as a Medical Laboratory Technician, CPR.

    Education: Associate Degree in a Laboratory Science, or Medical Laboratory Technology, from an accredited institution.

    Experience: Previous experience is preferred but not required.
